Inventory is extremely low right now in Washington. This means buyers will be fighting an uphill battle and sellers will be enjoying a market suited to their needs.

There is a strong demand
for homes right now.

However, I recently sat down with my buyer agents and we discussed what their buyers were looking for in homes. If you, or anyone you know, has a home with some of these qualities, please let us know. There is a strong demand right now and you could capitalize on this.

So, what are buyers looking for?

  • A home in Skagit Island County, a ranch in the range of 900k
  • A home in Marysville for $450k
  • A home in the Lakewood School District for $375k
  • Another buyer is looking in Marysville for $250k

We have hundreds of buyers waiting for a good property to show up, and we also have investors looking for homes that need some fixing. If you are looking to sell, there is likely a strong demand for your home right now. Buyers are coming out of the woodwork this year because interest rates are rising, and we expect an extremely busy spring market.

Three Common Mistakes When Listing a Home

If your home is sitting on the market without activity, it could be because of three different reasons.
1. Your listing isn’t priced correctly. Better, local deals will sell before yours if you don’t adjust your price.
2. Your property is having challenges. Clean the house. Mow the lawn. Take out the trash. Stage your home! Make it look its best.
3. Your promotion is not dialed in. Schedule an open house for the first weekend after the home is listed. Take professional photos and price your home correctly the first time.

Additionally, consider the open-house everyday program or one-day agreements we offer. At Latham Realty Unlimited, we guarantee your home will sell in 25 days. If not, we'll sell your home for free!
