Are You Making a Costly Mistake by Waiting for Spring to Sell Your Home?

Today we want to discuss with you the real estate market and its current conditions. The first thing we want to discuss is interest rates. They are down in the 3% range again, which is historically low.

What does this mean to you as a buyer? Well for starters, your payment will be hundreds of dollars less per month than what you traditionally would be paying for a mortgage even a month ago.

By purchasing a house now with these interest rates, your payment will most likely be cheaper than if you were renting a home. Low rates are also going to give you more purchasing power and you will be able to afford more of a home. So if you are  a buyer, get going.

For sellers, this time of year is a good time to list your home if you've been thinking about it. The majority of buyers wait until spring to put their homes on the market, but there are buyers out there right now looking. If you put your home on the market at this time of year, you are going to have less competition and more serious buyers.

If you have been thinking about buying or selling, now is the time to take action. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call or send us an email. We'd be glad to help!
